Coutts Crossing crash: three dead in North Coast crash

A man and two children have died at the scene of a horror smash in New South Wales Northern Rivers region overnight. Police believe the 43-year-olds twin cab utility veered off Kangaroo Creek Road in Coutts Crossing, south of Grafton, and struck a tree.

A man and two children have died at the scene of a horror smash in New South Wales’ Northern Rivers region overnight.

Police believe the 43-year-old’s twin cab utility veered off Kangaroo Creek Road in Coutts Crossing, south of Grafton, and struck a tree.

Emergency services were called to the scene but the driver and two passengers, a 14-year-old boy and an 11-year-old girl, died at the scene.

A crime scene has been established and investigations are ongoing. Police are calling for anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online.

Fifty-four people have now died on NSW roads so far this year, compared to 62 people at the same time last year.
