For the first time ever, H&M dropped a line of Pride focused clothes to support the LGBT+ community during the upcoming Pride Month in June. This line has a very specific and cohesive look that is gender neutral. Many of the designs showcase rainbows, love, and equality. The line was dropped May 31st and modeled by first openly gay action-sports Olympian Gus Kenworthy, transgender singer Kim Petras, RuPaul’s Drag Race contestant and drag super star Aja, model and activist Gabrielle Richardson, and first male albino pro model Shaun Ross.

According to H&M, 10% of the Pride collections sales will be donated to the UN Free and Equal campaign for equal rights and fair treatment for LGBTQI+ people everywhere. Head of H&M’s Menswear Design, Andreas Lowenstam, told WWD that, “H&M believes in everybody’s right to love who they want. We hope people can use H&M’s collection to celebrate their belief in equal love.”

Here are what some of the models from the collection had to say about this amazing line coming out from such a well known brand.

Shaun Ross shared one of his promo pictures to Instagram to say:

FINALLY!! I use to live in upstate New York and I would beg my mom to bring to H&M. It was affordable to look cool and feel great. I would see the campaigns and how it showcased many different walks of life that had many different looks. I was always told I was too different from others around me to be in a campaign for @HM that as a gay man I should be more masculine in order to relate to the masses. Well I will just sit this here for you. I too can fly and touch the sky.

Aja also wrote, “So happy to be a part of the [H&M] campaign… supporting non binary attire and queer expression.”
