According to Matthew McConaughey, he was once pressured into having sex when he was a young boy, Entertainment Tonight reported this weekend. The 50-year-old Oscar winner reflected on one of his past sexual experiences in his new memoir, Greenlights.
Matthew says there was a time in his life when he was victim to unwanted sexual interactions. People Magazine reported on a snippet from the actor’s memoir in which he said he was “blackmailed into having sex” when he was just 15-years-old.
Later on, in the same novel, McConaughey admitted he was sexually assaulted by a man in the back of a vehicle when he was 18-years-old. Matthew says he was knocked out at the time. Even though these things happened to Mr. McConaughey, the actor doesn’t feel like he’s a victim.
The star went on to say that he feels as though the “world is conspiring” to make him a happier man, probably referring to his family with Camila Alves, including their three children, Levi, 12, Vida, 10, and Livingston, 7.
During an appearence on The Howard Stern Show this week, McConaughey explained to the host that having a great family was of crucial importance to him. He said it was simply “non-negotiable.” The most important thing to him is his family.

Fans of Matthew have been thrilled to see that the actor has been all over the headlines over the last few weeks. He dropped the aforementioned new memoir, Greenlights, and has been doing the press rounds promoting it.
For instance, the actor shared in his memoir that his father had actually died during sex with his mom. He says his dad always used to tell him and his siblings that he would die while “making love to (their) mother,” and that’s precisely what happened. Matthew says he died of heart failure.

Since then, the actor has been trying to hook up his mother with Hugh Grant’s father, although, he never stated if anything ever happened between them.
