The Real Housewives of New York star said some harsh words about the late Dennis Shields, but it looks like she’s realized her mistake. Ramona Singer took to her platforms of choice to apologize for calling Bethenny Frankel’s late fiancé ‘dumb’ for using drugs.
Singer’s comment on the man’s addiction was perceived as insensitive since it is reported he died because of an overdose!
But it seems like the reality TV celeb has realized her mistake and took responsibility since she posted apologies on both her Instagram and Twitter!
‘I cringed when I saw what I said about Dennis in tonight’s episode. It definitely was not one of my finer moments. I respected and liked him very much and I sincerely apologize to his family and Bethenny for my thoughtless comments,’ the woman’s tweet reads.
Singer did not mention what exactly made her cringe but the episode’s teaser made it pretty clear.
The footage shows her and Sonja Morgan having a conversation when Ramona tells the other Housewife: ‘How smart can Dennis be? I mean, he was on drugs.’ Yikes!
Meanwhile, Bethenny Frankel is yet to respond to the teaser or the apology.
Previously, one insider report by HollywoodLife shared that Frankel is still mourning the devastating loss of her fiancé.
They were secretly engaged about four months before he died.

On the same episode, she showed co-star Dorinda Medley the ring from him and told her: ‘I loved him so much and we were family and my daughter [Bryn Hoppy] was close with him…. I knew him for so many years. I kept [the engagement] to myself because I did not want another circus of my life … We had our own private engagement and private, like, ‘Oh my God, we’re gonna do this.’’
